Cres is the largest island of the Adriatic Sea. An island where the spirit of the Mediterranean that once existed on all the islands of the Adriatic still lives. Due to the extremely preserved natural environment and its rich history, it feels as if the entire island is one big nature park.

The unique terrain of Cres is covered with typical Mediterranean plants: herbs, colorful flowers, olive groves and pine trees. Agriculture represents an important economic branch for Cres, and olive growing, along with sheep farming, is the most important branch of the island's agriculture.
