Citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina are increasingly buying real estate in Turkey

And while we are talking about new debts and debt repayments, BiH citizens buy real estate the most in Turkey.

Although they are increasingly expensive and in the most attractive destination for citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina - Alanya, the interest of citizens of Bosnia and Herzegovina is still high.

Until a few years ago, apartments were bought in Alanya at favorable prices through real estate agencies.

Mirza Seferović, owner of the company "Dom", which deals in real estate sales, says that the demand in Turkey is very high.

"There are also our people from the diaspora, from Norway, Germany and other countries. Now the number of BiH citizens is growing. The diaspora dominated for a while, and now people from Bosnia and Herzegovina are dominating again," says Seferović.

This is confirmed by the interlocutor, Minet Musić, investment advisor. which mediates the purchase of real estate in Turkey as well. The Antalya region is particularly interesting for BiH citizens, and the number of buyers is increasing.

"In Turkey, we had over 100, 150 clients, this year alone, some of whom took over 10 apartments, and even more. I think that a lot of our citizens want to have some alternative on the sea and in the south, and that's why they mostly decide to shop there".

The interlocutors point out that there is a drastic difference in prices between real estate in Turkey and in Bosnia and Herzegovina, which is certainly one of the main reasons for buying real estate in that country.

"You can get an apartment of about 65 square meters for 65,000 euros, with the fact that you didn't just get an apartment, you have a swimming pool, a parking place, air conditioning... According to the latest information I have, such an apartment in Bosnia and Herzegovina would be twice as much, maybe even three times more", says Seferović.

And while real estate sales are booming in Turkey, primarily due to lower prices, real estate prices in Bosnia and Herzegovina are constantly increasing in the capital of Bosnia and Herzegovina. In Sarajevo, a square meter in a new building can reach up to eight thousand marks.
